My Looney Day at Warner Bros. World –

From the moment you approach the iconic Warner Bros. shield outside the entrance, you know you’re in for an immersive adventure. The theming is spot-on, transporting you directly into the worlds of your favorite cartoons and movies. My inner child was filled with excitement!

Once inside, you’ll find yourself in Warner Bros. Plaza, the central hub modeled after old Hollywood. Grab a map to orient yourself, then let the exploring begin! The park is divided into six themed lands: Gotham City, Metropolis, Cartoon Junction, Dynamite Gulch, Bedrock, and Acme Acres.

Fighting Crime in Gotham City with Batman

My first stop was always Gotham City, home of the Caped Crusader himself, Batman. This gritty urban landscape is filled with thrilling rides like Scarecrow Scare Raid and The Riddler Revolution. I braved the twisting, looping coaster and emerged with my hair windswept but spirits high! The special effects like mist and lights add an extra spooky vibe.

Saving the day with Superman and The Justice League

Next I made my way over to DC’s Metropolis to join Superman in defending truth, justice and the American way.
Rides like Justice League: Warworld Attacks put you right in the middle of the action alongside DC’s most iconic Superheroes. Teen Titans Training Academy is a multi-level play area perfect for honing your super skills. And for a true stomach-dropping thrill, don’t miss Superman 360: Battle for Metropolis in 4D!

Navigating Furry Fun at Cartoon Junction

No Warner Bros. park would be complete without the hilarious antics of everyone’s favorite mystery-solving dog, Scooby Doo. In Cartoon Junction, you can join Scooby and the gang as they follow clues through a creepy museum on Scooby-Doo: The Museum of Mysteries. This interactive, walk-through towards the ride itself had me laughing out loud!

For some prehistoric fun, head over to Bedrock to experience The Flintstones’ wacky Stone Age world. On The Flintstones Bedrock River Adventure, you’ll follow along on a dino-riffic celebration ride past all your favorite landmarks and characters. Make sure to stop by Bronto Burgers for some caveman grub!

If you’re looking for Looney Tunes mischief, Dynamite Gulch is your go-to land. Ride rollercoasters like Tweety Wild Wockets and Ricochet Racin’ with Taz, or take the kids over to ACME Factory for a playground filled with tunnels, ladders and slides. And no visit is complete without a ride on the classic carousel with Bugs, Daffy and more!

By far my favorite rollercoaster is Fast and Furry-ous, themed after Wile E. Coyote chasing his lunch, the Road Runner! Its a short but fast indoor roller coaster that’s always high in demand.

Don’t miss the Cinema Spectacular show that happens just before the park is about the close at the Plaza. The projection mapping show, pays homage to all the popular films from the Warner Bros. archives (some that I didn’t even know were made by them!).

With 29 rides and attractions, as well as live entertainment, interactive play zones, character meet-and-greets, dining, and shopping, it’s easy to spend a whole day immersed in Warner Bros. World. I suggest arriving early when waits are shorter, or splurging on a Flash Pass for expedited queue access.

Location

Warner Bros. World Abu Dhabi is located on Yas Island which is about a 1 hour drive from South Dubai. You can take the free Yas Express shuttle from various locations around Dubai. It’s a comfortable and most importantly free ride to Yas Island and around Yas Island!

• Please note that to take the Yas Express Shuttle you must have your tickets before you board the bus as the drivers will request to see them. Click here for the latest Yas Express schedules.
• Taxi Drivers in Dubai will happily drive you to Yas Island as its a big fare for them (about 300-450 AED)
• If you do take a taxi, please take note that Abu Dhabi Taxis (silver colored cars) can take you back to Dubai. Your Dubai Taxi can only take you to Abu Dhabi and not bring you back to Dubai.
